I've enrolled to run half marathon

Yesterday I've registered online on http://www.adidashalfmarathon.co.uk/onlinentry for the race. I've paid £15 for entry - which is not much.

For Marathon preparations I've already intensified my training. I hope that in few months running 21 kilometres will not be as scary as it is now. Currently my record is 11 km. I still have more than 4 months to go. I'm training hard. I'm optimistic.

I think I'm better prepared physically than financially right now. My charity fund raising is currently in the state of suspension. But I'm hoping to receive a big donation soon from my company.

Adidas Half Marathon takes place on 15th March 2009, at the historic Silverstone motor racing circuit. I hope that not during the race. My fear is that this may be a bit dull. Running on perfectly flat, concrete surface is both boring and bad for feet. But nevertheless I'm excited and looking forward to it.
