Marathon Training Journal - February

Getting fit. More runs, longer distances.

This was the best month ever in my training. I run overall distance of 117 km which is almost 40 km more than in August - my previous best distance. Total time of exercises was 11 hours 18 minutes and 30 seconds - again the best result. I've achieved average pace of 10,37 km/h.

It is not bad but still a bit off target. I need to maintain pace 10,59 km/h or 6,58 M/h for the whole race. Then I'll be able to finish it within 4 hours (3:59:00).

My foot is still getting numb sometimes if I exercise hard. And this worries me. I don't feel tired, my feet or legs don't hurt so I'd be able to run. But with numb foot it is not possible, comfortable and probably not healthy.

Addidas Silverstone Half Marathon is in a week time. We will see if I can run it below 2 hours. Fingers and legs crossed.
