Marathon Training Journal - March

Running less but more. Fewer exercises but much longer and exhaustive. Last month before final challenge

Another record-breaking month in my training. I run total distance of 126,8 km which is almost 10 km more than in February - my previous best distance. But I have much fewer runs only 10. Total time of exercises was 11 hours 44 minutes and 59 seconds. I've achieved average pace of 10,80 km/h and average distance per run was 12,7 km.

All of this thanks to joining a running club: BRJ Road Runners in Huntingdon. They have trainings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each of those is pretty intensive. More that 10K, longer than one hour. Additionally I need to run to BRJ club which is about 2 km from my home and come back after training.

Thanks to them I performed well during Silverstone. I’ve joined a small group of people that I've met before and run with them in easy, even pace.

This is my last post before London Marathon. Next one will be probably published as soon as I recover after it.
