This website is now XHTML 1.0 Transitional and passess W3C validation.
I’ve put some effort today to make my website XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Why? It is said that it may improve its ranking in search engines. Also it is cool to have “W3C compatible” icon on page footer.
Plone itself is W3C compatible. But not my customisations and not all templates from third party products. What I have to do was mainly adding alt attributes to image tags. Also I’ve removed some duplicate id attributes, which were used for styling and replaced them by class attributes.
